Actually Al,this site becomes interesting because of different characters in this group.When the posting is only asking about whats the weather, when the robinson open (with no argument of the people here, with a reason why they like and why they don't like).If the members here always only accepting what other tell to them,
Then this forum is dead.Then I have to go .With all this members who are contributing their opinions some so direct some shy and some try to hide , that's make this forum different from others.

I'm thankful to the people here who are active contributing their insights, that's the reasons that I always very interested everyday to look this forum.Well Im sorry that I'm only a reader most of the time:o

I know you have mentioned leaving the forum another time and changed your mind and stayed and you are mentioning on the forum about leaving again? I've never had the pleasure of a conversation with you, nor bantering, etc., but am actually curious as to what you envision as your type of forum? I'm not trying to provoke or anything, but I am curious. If you leave the forum, then I'm sure you'll be missed for a bit and then like the rest of us, be forgotten when we also leave in time. My thoughts are that I'm able to enjoy what people have to say about various things, joke around with others, and just basically enjoying what the Dane and Rhoody are providing for us. These two could just as easily walk away too and close down this forum, but like us, they must see the forum as a nice service and no doubt they also enjoy all that the forum is about. So, that is kinda why I'm curious as to what you envision? Maybe you are looking at the forum through a too narrow a perspective and forgetting that people from all parts of the world and all walks of life are part of this, which is actually why it is a pleasure to log on and read and write and also learn. Maybe if you just keep a more open mind and not personalize and just try to learn where people are coming from and remember that we all have vary different backgrounds. Just my two cents worth mind ya.

 

well i guess The Teach is referring to the "violent" reactions to some arguments scattered in the thread, which also in my opinion, makes one unrelaxed and even defensive in making replies. and tension makes one take precaution instead of learn, unless taking precaution to the point of tension should be the lesson to be learned.

If you dont like the postings of some people , remember that we are all different.
So make your own forum and you can delete whatever you like.
But I can say one thing to you, no one will visit that forum cos it is boaring.

I guess my questions are not actually going to be answered, by you teach, which speaks volumes in itself. I will say that I like the way Dane and Rhoody run the forum and appreciate the forum for what it is and wouldn't presume to criticise in a passive aggressive manner like you have. There is no way I would have the patience they have and do the job they have done. If you were going to leave the forum before hand wouldn't you have shown more respect for your friend and sent a private message instead to Rhoody instead of posting your displeasure of what they are doing in an open forum? Sorry, I don't get it, but I do honestly wish you well and hope you find the forum of your dreams.
