No photo essay of life in Dumaguete would be complete without an exploration of this famous seaside attraction. I've now seen it at all times of day and in various conditions. This posting brings me full circle in a way. My first interest in the Philippines was accompanied by a Google search which brought me to a post by a young American visitor who had attached several photos of Rizal Blvd. At that time I was a frequent visitor to Cuba and I quickly realized that Dumaguete's modest Rizal outstripped (IMHO) the attractions of both Havana's Malecon and the Paseo de Marti (or Prado). Now I'm proud to post my own photos here.
