Hello everyone, just saying hello. We are a 50ish retired couple, American married to Filipina living here almost three years now in Candau-AY. Three children, 1 being adopted here, ages 6,7, and 8 all attending Silliman. We have also just started a maid referral service. Happy to be aboard, and yes, we like living here very much.

    Welcome.
Good to hear about your service. Could be of interest for many people here.
BTW: Are you the service who also replied to TFA's question regarding maid, coock and driver ?
    If yes.....looks well, your site!

    thanks for the warm welcome

Thanks to everyone who has welcomed us to the site. Yes, jellyfish, we are the ones who posted the website www.dmgtehel4u.com on the tfa thread. BTW we have a privately employed driver who works Monday thru Saturday from 7 to 5 with one hour off for lunch. Having driven in the aggressive traffic of the Washington D.C. area for 30 years, I was afraid that I would soon be driving around with pictures of motorcycles notched onto the side of my truck! Our driver has good English, plus carpentry, plumbing, electrical... you get the picture. A hardworking multi-faceted individual who we were lucky to find (and pay a little extra for). Our experience with maids is mixed and we learned to set our expectations accordingly. I will see if I can post some of this info the the tfa thread also. Thanks again everyone.
