⌛ new kid in the block

i guess i'll have to introduce myself again. i guess i'm mistaken as a foreigner here. am i? hehe. i'm a cebuana who is married to a dumagueteño. we met here in cebu. i've been there thrice. even lived in sibulan for 2 mos. wish i could get a job there so i can move out. pardon me for the trouble. if i caused any. thanks to you all. i so love dgte.

 

thanks rhb. there's always a side of me that wants to settle there. good place to raise a kid and retire. i'm into simple living, but if dgte's going to turn into a mini-cebu, i'd better stay here.

 

Post that comment on the mall thread, too many think a mall is synonymous with "progress" it is not neccessarily so.
Not one person involved here on the forum, namely foxy lady, has ackknowledged any responsibility for emvironmental impact or land use suitability. In the U.S. even with this added expense, malls proliferate, but at least they are established in corridors of commerce along major highways with proper traffic flow considered, or commercially zoned areas.

I don't think this project will develope as planned, it has been too long already, I know at least one prospective tennant who has reserved space in the mall if and when it opens, how long will they hold this option, before looking for a real alternative?? It has been two years and ticking.

 

Good points RHB (as always you are) .I think no need for me to put my points here again because in the last month when you are absent , only yabs and me (openly) fighting against this MALL versus many members here………. now we are both KO (joke only) my partner yabs gone and my fighting power gone and now I only like jokes….

 

I am not against the mall per se, I really don't have a stake in whether it comes or not, but I do like to get people to think. What are the real effects and consequences of something like this.

And Yabs is in town i understand, probably drinking with Rhoody and not posting. :D He was not having good reasons either, even though he is anti mall.,

 

correct... hehe:D and by the time of this post he is on the way to a western - owned upper class resort in Bohol with his lovely girlfriend to take advantage of the western-world touristic development...
..but at least he is brave enough to join the meeting next saturday...

You are right RHB, there are many points of yabs, that the majority of people in this planet..... hard to understand (his points)or accept it , but i defind him as an intelligent and interesting person.

 

count me in against those who are pro-mall!
