I was refering to the pic where the GF of Tipmart was receiving her diving certificate from an instructor with a cap at EL Dorado.
But that bold guy (when without cap) is not Rhoody, although also Rhoody always wears a funny cap, which however mostly points in the opposite direction like most rappers do :D
I know a lot more Daffs, but better to tell that in your ears only before I'm kicked off from the forum :D .
Rhoody ..... (be aware of him) is like a German shepperd in a diving suite :D
    They are always around.
The only reason I believe we are friends (are we ? :D ) is because he likes Dutchmen.

Ok… I understand.Rhoody is a german, the other guy is a swiss, (both have caps)

What a nice info you give ???? A bold guy (swiss) ..... something you put a barrier on my admiration to him..Now, I have to make my own imagination how he look like without a cap…Hmmmm…..I still cannot constract it……

Sad to say, you cannot whisper (more infos) in my my ears as I cannot do it this coming DI meeting…just so many obstacles…But it’s not the end of the world Jelly.Have a nice weekend….

    Tipmart87 thanks for writing!

I have a question. How much will Customs allow in cash into the country and do you have to tell them?

    Well,

from outside the Philippines you can bring in 10,000 pesos or $250. not a lot

So I always bring in a little more, they ask you on the customs form how much you have. where you hide the rest is up to you!!!! I also have a bank account out there which helps.

Normally, you can only bring only 5000 pesos to Cebu or Manila but as you are going to Dumaguete and meeting with Rhoody you need more

Thanks! I now called my bank and made other arrangements on how to wire money otherwise I would have been in trouble. It is cheap enough to wire rather than risk having any money on me.

I think with all the main organisations, whether PADI, NAUI or SSI you will have to be able to swim. When I did mine through NAUI and my g/f did hers with PADI, the rules were that you had to be able to swim 200m, Donesa also had to be able to tread water for 10 minutes and I had to swim underwater for 10 meters

For the fun dive/discovery dive probably not. But Donesa had a lot more confidence going into her course being a much stronger swimmer. Take some lessons and practice, you will enjoy your diving a lot more

I just checked, I think you are right, i had always assumed that it was currency with the value of 10,000 pesos. so much for hiding my extra cash down my y fronts!!!

No need to be a swimmer for a Discover Scuba program. This is a experience program.
For a Dive-course you should be able to swim. This does not mean fast, but able to stay on the surface and move from A to B. It also makes sense if you want to spend some time in an environment you usually don't belong to be good friend with it...

    cheers
