Like in a well discussed thread before (click here) I was complaining big time about a certain issue. Last week I went to Hayahay again and found a fancy looking new menu in my hands. It looks way better than the water-Red Horse Beer soaked copies before. The prices went up a little bit, but that is more than ok as it is not that much. Considering the general price increase for grocery, rice and beer it is still a very valuable place. When I placed my order my waitress said to me :"Sir, no tax anymore...":D that simply means, What you see is what you pay... I hate hidden charges !! 10 Minutes later Sandy (I know I spell it wrong, sorry) the manager came to me and we were joking around about the "long-nose" tax. He is a great guy and always open for critics and I promised him to make a well deserved thread here on DI. At the end I must admit he did a great job in changing that AND creating a well designed friendly menu.... cheers to you Rhoody
thats good yes i had always noticed the cheese on the pizza smelled like smeely socks great shame as the rest of the pizza is great best pizza oin town aort from smelly sock cheese has italia got an oven yet?
the best pizza oven does not help anything if you use the wrong ingrediants... Italia finally got the building permit for the brick oven (yes this are things you need in Duma ) and started the construction of it last Saturday. According to Chef Fabrizio it should be finished in a week. So Yabster, when you arrive it should be ready that you can invite your Hon for a (delayed) Birthday-dinner... Better buy a huge flower-bouquet when coming to Duma... cheers Rhoody
Hmm... no more tax, but prices increased a little, I think they saw you coming on that one. Great idea to incorporate the "tax" into the menu price. Or to finally print new menus instead of raising prices by adding "tax". mozerella is available both in yan yan, and Lee plaza now, no excuse for not using it. romano, parmesian are also readily available. Good peperoni is yet to be located in Dumaguete by me anyway., perhaps Italia will get the good stuff.
