    9.Orange-striped Triggerfish
    10. Spot-face moray

I only can see a nudybranch and no chromodoris (hihi).
    Excuses " a chromodiris" = a nudibranche.
Have to correct myself. Agree with the previous determination of Rhoody.

No 12 is to me indeed a parot fish. Still a juvenile in my opinion.
They have different paterns and colours when they're still juveniles.
I'm only not sure about the exact type. There are so many !!

    Jelly,

8 chromi, sounds good to me...
redbreast wrassees are very common here, you should see many in Dauin and Mansaplod North, the scientific name is :Cheilinus fasciatus

    cheers

    Jelly,
Rhoody is right about the redbreast wrasse, once i got the hint it was in fact a wrasse and not a parrotfish i found it in my book, the picture in the book is almost identical to the one i took (better quality of course).

As far as the chromodris is concerned, it could also be a Chromodoris Reticulata.

    geurtd,

if you are interested in Nudis and slugs, you may consider the 1001 nudibranches book by Neville coleman...

I have to admit that the colours and the pattern of the 'Wikepedia' Redbreast wrasse is similar to Geurtd's picture nr.12 , Rhoody.
But I still have doubts. Why ?
Because the mouth is not the same. A wrasse has different lips than a parot fish and the lips on the pic nr. 12 are clearly parotfish like.
Also the small bobble above the eyes is parot-like and not existing at the redbreast wrasse.
But you made me doubting because of the rest of the resemblance with the shown redbreast wrasse.
It looks more like a Scarus caudofasciatus ('redbarred parrotfish', or as we call it, the tailbanded parrotfish), but it is not since the pic is taken in the Philippines I have to believe..
It however shows once again how difficult it can be in some cases to exactly determine a species.
At least....I am not sure anymore.
