 Hi Rhoods, I've noticed that your 520PhP is just the regular fee. What if mrsteve got the updated accommodation ie; "Aircon Room" or the "Business Class"? He must be right too I guess...

OK, I still got my ticket which was rounded up to 650P (including VAT). My wife got the tickets and she is Filipina...
I didn't know about Aircon or Business class. We were waiting in the waiting room, we'd checked in some luggage, then we all got called to line up for seat numbers (why they didn't do this when people checked in their luggage I don't know). then the ferry was delayed about 1 hour, apparently so was the morning one, and someone else told me they had been late all week.
    TIP (This Is Philippines)...

    Great trip...

Well, back at our place in cavite now. Got to say I really enjoyed Bohol. In all the years I've been coming here I never bothered with Bohol, but I will hopefully be back.
Was really impressed with the Chocolate Hills, I thought the trip would be awdul, but was amazed by the scenery, and got some great photos. Even at this time of year the hills are turning brown.
The cruise on the Loboc River was also very nice. 300P for an hours cruise with a buffet and live music...where else would you get that fir the price.
Also enjoyed the few hours we spent on Panglao Island.
Next time I think I'd spend a few days on the island, then a dew days in the city...

    Bohol....

Pink, had to bring some kalaymay back for a relative in Cavite! Weighed me down a bit!
re the resorts on Panglao, looked at the Atlantis (sic?) or Atlantia? They advertised doubles for 1800 which I think is very steep for off season. I had a booklet which I'd picked up in Duma and saw some places in the 1000P region which is more in my budget.
Had a late breakfast at the Powder keg which I thought was excellent value for money and a really good menu. I'd probably eat there every day if staying on Panglao!
