No, not as a group. Certainly there are some expats, perhaps many, that have mellowed their nationalistic tendencies but based on my experience with expats in the Philippines there are just as many that have not. Many of my countrymen that have emigrated cling tightly to the indoctrination they have received. Perhaps it's easier to continue to believe your heroes are the people the schoolteachers told you they were rather than face the realization they were simply humans doing what was most beneficial to themselves. Once faced with that reality you have to ask yourself if there's a reason to care anymore.

I have nothing to apoligize for read my articles again and your see the truth and nothing but the truth. It may hurt and by the comments I see it does, but its the truth nothing but the truth. I really wished it was not but it is.

I am not going to apoligise to people that have no manners for their own kind unless they have money.

Shiba, you made my day shining, even when the rain is continuously falling from haven since last evening. I'm glad my blunt reaction has not been taken wrong by a lot of people. Sometimes you have to be blunt
It was my dear father who told me some rules:
"Most important in live: Be honest to yourself then automatically you're honest to others as well. Meaning: don't lie, be trustfull.
The rest comes with these values."
I don't say I never lied however, but I try hard to follow what he learned me.

Daffs, you're so right of course with your statement:
"My own opinion better not push or pressure anybody in public that he had to apologize. ..............
I just like to be honest, If I will make a mistakes (nobody is perfect) and people shouting me that I will have to say Sorry (it goes into my nerve). I will never do what they said."

I will correct now and apologize to Bable:
Babel bubble.....please don't appologize. You're fanstatic. Keep up the good work. :(

Where pray did I state I hate Filipino's?

Where have I cursed the Filipino's?

I do know a filipino that hates critisism even when the critism is true. No manners used when asking and recieving from fellow filipino's?

    Corruption is rife.

Lets not sweep things under the carpet.

Babel, everything you said in this DI forum seems to be in vain...

There are always those that are intolerable to criticism & prefer to sweep things under a rug or bury their heads in the sand.....too bad this type of mentality are quite rampant in many third world countries and they shall remain as such because of the ratio of such population as well as the country being governed by those either through self serving interest or they truly don't care about changes----remember, improvements bring about accountability....and I'm sure not many will want that. But quite frankly IMO, I actually think such ignorance should be a blessing in disguise for many expats looking for a cheap place to live.....in a third world country. But the fact remains that in the Philippines, the good overwhelms the bad & that is why you and many expats choose to live there & loving it.....therefore, if I were you, I wouldn't complain too much. If they they took all your & other foreigners criticism to heart and become so disciplined in businesses and services like north Americans or the Europeans, they'll likely be become just as expensive to live in....and I'm sure many expats retiring on fixed income will not want that to happen.

So my advise is: drop the complaining & go have a cold one:D

But I said it and lets not pretend many a foreigner that's street wise would want to say the same things especially those that have been heart broken and disapointed.

Oh I will get a lot of flack for stating openly what I think, heard and seen done. But thats what honest opinion will always be punished with.

Lets not sweep things under the carpet, I hear many foreigners complain ever and each day. I hear foreigners state clearly of what they are wary of. Why hide it under a hat.

Fob me off, okay fine, destroy my character fine, but hide the truth hey that’s not fair. The worst people attack the more controversial my articles get. Thanks for being a fan, lol

    sob, sob, sob
