Jelly, and I thought the following is clear:
The October-anniversary-meeting will be on Saturday 4th of Oktober. It will be held at the PressClub compound at the boulevard and is part of the first "traditional" Octoberfest in Dumaguete.

anyway, you can hear more on air this evening, I am invited to explain in a radio show this evening what it is all about...
I will make sure that everybody is confused after that.

Anyway, The fund is open for donations. Business-Owners will get an Official Receipt for their books. Sure all otheres will also get one...
Donation above 1000 PHP will be announced on the DI content-page for the Octoberfest (with Name and business). Can't get cheaper adds on DI... hehe

first of all thank you for joining DI. My first answer would be : just also learn to dive... hehe. Depending where you stay and what your interests are. If your husband goes to Apo Island one day, just join him, if the weather is right it will be a great daytrip.
Roaming around in Dumaguete for a day is also ok. you can cover most interesting sights by foot in about one day in the City. If you tell your husband NOT to dive one day you can go on a daytrip to the waterfalls or caving or or or...

    Hope it helped a bit

    cheers

Coyote, that is awsome, I may drop by in the afternoon anyway as I come back from the south.

Firea, I am sure we keep a drink cold for you untill your arrival... I just hope and wish that some showing up to get some peso together...

I booked a great band for thursday and Saturday, who made me a good offer fitting to my budget. The vocalist has a great rough voice. We are not allowed to play noisy music, but those guys play great stuff on accustic guitars that it sounds like Rock n' Roll...
For Friday I booked to good guitar-players who are well known in Dumaguete and they will play a bit different than just folk in "minor-chords" as it is supposed to be a happy event...
