a filipino without a watch???? they all have mobile phones, is there any phones working without a clock on them? by my experience filipino time is exact!!! give or take 5hrs on a good day lol

 

I actual find my german friends a bit slow at laughing at a joke, but good at telling them and laughing at their own. However perhaps my nights in the drinking holes of hamburge and Hanover befuddled my thoughts. Ein beer bitter and bumpsy daisy.

The visions of a fair maiden with a large jug of beer haunt me still to this day and being falsed to drink snap after snaps and flaggons of beer by a burly hairy guy in leather shorts and banging a pole with bells and gadgets on top, bellowing drink, drink, drink then that bellow of laughter. Oh those were the days of my deluded youth.

Germans are blessed with humor and Germany is a fine country full of people whom love wearing uniforms. I use to have a great sellection of beer mats and German beer glasses. Sadly I gave them away before I came here.

 

Shhhhs now they have not got an escuse, spoil sport, lol

Actually most of the filipino's I know or deal with turn up on time after of course being ribbed at the first meeting about filipino time. lol

Once you get use to it, you ignor it take on a layed back attitude and sigh and say to your self "what's the hurry".

Some time ago I was best man at a friends wedding held at a plush hotel in Cebu, the judge was 1 hour and 40 minutes late of course the beer was cold and we had a good afternoon. My friend was livid very annoyed his wife to be was cool as a cucumber and help to keep him calm. However the poor guy got sozzled and we had to carry him to his room still moaning about the judge.
