    Thank-you

Well the more I read the more I am wondering --why am I still in Indiana. Well that answer deals with my sick parents near death) and my holdings that put in some other person't hands could end up in disaster. So my only hope is to come there and meet you all and just "hogjull" and learn as much as I can as fast as I can. I am a very interesing person (no brag just fact) and have been all over the world and am not one of those spoiled Americans. I have been and lived in Cebu and Bohol so this is one American that can adopt.I do have an advantage for I have a wonderful GF that has truly made my day but even if that doesn't materialize I can make friends very easily. So thanks for your response yours Jim

    aloha :-)

this is my first post. my wife is a filipina and wants so much to live in dumaguete. when i searched for properties for sale i found this nice house and lot somewhere in Siblan for 8 million pesos. when i told my wife she took a look at the pictures and said no too way expensive. eventually she learned that the house on that real state site was owned by her friend she met on friendster. she kinda change her mind now and said we would rather buy a 4 bedroom house in Florida for $90,000. i understand it is business but buyer also wanted the best deal. we will visit Dumaguete again and hopefully pedicab driver won't charge me 50 pesos for a ride from downtown to coco grande. i thought that was a funny experience when the driver told me it is 50 pesos because it is already 5pm. when my wife knew she was so mad andlovingly called me dumber than dumb. it was only 7 pesos but anyways i love chicken Jo's

Nice reading your message. I think I will only be visiting for I think I lost the woman of my life there.I am tired of freezing here in Indiana so I guess i will spend a month or so and get to know all u folks and enjoy the advenures of Dumgueta's life. and if you all are cool then the first round will be on me providing the stories keep a rolling.Thank-you for your post and the more I learn about Dumgueta the more I like this place---so I thought Cebu was grand well I may be changing my mind to that satement. hehehe..funny..dumaguete is a small city..you can walk from one end to the other..and why?..because you will see it is a very beautiful, small city..very peaceful even at night..and you will love the evening breeze..especially when you walk by the boulevard..

smiley123 it is a funny experience..i do not know there are people now who are like the pedicab driver abounding dumaguete..you know the drivers were known some time ago as the most courteous over drivers on other places within the visayas region..they were known to pause to let a pedestrian cross the street..especially if they are old people..my, my..what is starting to happen..i dread the thought of having the city expand tremendously..what will happen to the values of the gentle people who live in this island..tsk, tsk, tsk..and smiley, when it gets to be around 9pm all tricycles will charge 20 pesos utmost unless if the route is from dumaguete to let's say amlan..then the rate would go up to 40 or 50 pesos..if it is within the city in broad daylight till early evening the regular rate of 7 pesos applies..

well, i met a lot of nice people there and that 50 pesos pedicab 'incident' fare won't discourage us in coming back. but with the housing market here in the U.S, I don't think we will be retiring there anytime soon. it wind up that property near Disneyworld is cheaper than a 5 bedroom house in Dumaguete.

    Falling In Love Is easy

Get the right combination-a beautiful woman, a nice day and a beautiful location and I think I could go for that. Boy I must say when I first went to the Pi --boy was I amazed at the friendly people and the most beautiful women. I almost became a Mormon when I got back home. Hey maybe I can form some sort of cult there huh?
