It's a while since I lived in Negros.
In the nineties i did live in Sibulan and we had a farm in Bayawan.

Still the best time of my life. Biking and hiking in the hinterlands, everyday under the LourdesFalls.
Romancing in a payak. Riding the off-road bike all the time to Bayawan and then take the dirt roads uphill.

Well a lot of dirt roads to the farm are now paved and Lourdes is not that clean anymore.
Sugarcane is replaces by rubber trees....so maybe condoms will become cheaper. haha

Anyway I am Jörgen, but most people called me Jeffrey. The last is easier to remember for the English-speakers.

    Cheers Jörgen

Yes, they're now starting to replace sugar with rubber trees because the price of the former is going down and the country will soon be flooded with cheap imported sugar...

Well we will see how it will develop.
I did have a good time in Bayawan those days, Still it will make slow progress in the hinterlands.

But have been going around in the visayas and mindanao. And i can say Negros is not bad.
