⌛ insurance ???

hello,
are tricycle owners required to have insurance ???
my nice was riding in a tricycle that was in a accident with another
tricycle, she had to go to the hospital 4 her injures. does the one at fault
have to pay for her hospital bill ??? what are her legal options ???

 

Never mind the insurance as it is the same we all have as part of our registration. Which means it's basically useless and if you get reimbursed it takes 8-10mos. If the incedent was blottered at the police station then she can get a request for medical statement from the hospital. Only provincial can do that. Step 2 is to file a case. Normally a soon as the owner of the tricycle is asked to come to the police station the case will be settled depending the amount..........Good Luck

 

Justice in the Philippines? ROFL

Justice in the Philippines is very different from the western world. From the PNP to the courts. You well be pushed to settled the case. If you get your case though the PNP then the prosecutor’s office well try to settle it and of course the court will do the same. After a couple of years when you become tired of spending money going to and fro from the court you well end up dropping it. Trust me I have been through the court system. The prosecutor’s office broke my case in to different cases the group that had a lesser offence took two years to deal with and nothing happened to them. The Major offenders ran away until I went to Taiwan. Then they came back home the PNP never even tried to arrest them. They were charged with qualified theft this a 16 year sentence. Do the PNP really care? Don’t think so I’m just a Kano. It is really as waste of your time to become involved any legal issues. I was told by the legal community that I had rights I can bring a case and get justice. It was not true they just wanted me to spend money using their services. In the end I saw no justice. Only lost more money
