    Good day!

I need input on how to go about deporting an alien. Or what are the grounds of having an alien deported? This alien has been troubling our family for such a long time already. In fact, my relatives from US won't come to Dumaguete for their vacation because this "alien" is giving them death threats... thanks for your reply and ideas.

Do you really believe that you will receive a SERIOUS reply from any one of us? View with a sizable boulder of salt any that come your way.

Now here is the good part: report your complaint to the appropriate Philippine authorities. See if it is any easier for you to deal with them than it is for an expat. After all, it's your country, right? Je! Je! Je!

Many of us who choose to live here do so with a very fragile existence from an immigration perspective. To wish, to seek, to advocate the deportation of another person is a very serious matter.

Be very careful what you pray for!

I think if the Philippines booted all the misbehaving expats, there would be none left.

Does this guy/gal play loud music? sing karaoke at 2am? light fires as a when u have washing out? or has he just got a nice house and a young gf? have cockerals that "sing" all night long, have an expansion chamber on his exhaust? blow his horn at any hour cos he can't be bothered opening the gate himself? steal your dog to eat on the beach?

I don't blame you wanting to get him deported, if he's doing all them!

kick back and relax! take it easy, chill a while, here take a draw on this lol

Incidentally, if you can't deport the foreigner, most of the things mentioned by Coyotes are great ways to get the foreigner to move if he is living next door. Or if he is living next door and you are doing all those things, that would explain the death threats.

    google it!

Whatever you experienced on that Alien? You do not want to pay legal consultation matters. Try to google it. I think, you should be directed to immigration procedure. I hope it helps to you, good luck!

would be nice to hear a bit more of the story. I don't believe anybody gives deathreads without any reasons. And if so it would not be that hard to get rid of him.

If he is really creating troubles for your family I am sure you have enough evidence to get rid of him.

First thing to consider is the ex-pats got to of broke the law and be arrested by the police.

Second thing its not you that can deport him, only the authorities he can be black listed for adultery, theft or for keep on causing trouble. I have seen people get away with under age sex and they are still in the Philippines but that is because a good lawyer and possibly twisting an arm or two possibly with free lunches etc.

Death threats are unlawful but you need witnesses or written proof then its still not up to you its again in the hands of the authorities.

You can only make the complaints to the police, immigration will listen however if you got a politician or two in your pocket it helps.

Its actually very hard to have a ex-pat deported however many Filipino's think one just goes to immigration and hey presto.

If this guy is as bad as you say, this really is not the place to seek legal advice and its best to consult a very good lawyer and throw money at the problem.

Foreigners have three less rights than Filipino's one is they are not allowed to possess a gun and can not be licensed to do so. Of which is the important one. So death threats are lessen by 35% - 75% possibly?

But why is this guy so bitter, where there is smoke there is normally fire? Did your relatives use the guys money or party to him being conned.

Are you sure your on the right side and been told the truth?

You see ex-pats normally have a reason it could be a mistaken reason but its sods law that there is a reason for his behavior?

Or he is a complete nut case? I suspect it maybe you have not been told. In any case the lawyer is you best bet and maybe he can talk to the guy and find out why he is acting in such away.

Of course the cheaper method is to take the guy to his nearest Barangay hall to be addressed on these death threats and his behavior. It surprising what you may find out. When I think about it I think this is the normal process before taking legal action. No harm checking that out with a lawyer or a barangay captain.

Take care and don't jump to conclusions or assumptions as even my brother has lied to me on such a matter where he was the one at fault.

This is a serious issue and hopefully my advice is helpful and you will not end up with egg on your face. I did when I was in defense of my brother.
