I see now I should have brought the disc that came with the phone to be able to transfer photos from fone to computer... what about emailing them to myself? I've tried it but photos sent/emailed from the phone just come back as unable to send or whatever..

i think you mean the motorala phone tools disc? just to get pictures off your phone you just need a usb lead and the usb driver for your phone.

Motorola MOTO RAZR V3 Driver Download

That's it once it's loaded, just plug it in and navigate to the pictures on your phone as is you were looking on your hard drive.

    hope it helps

Alrighty...I'm downloading it now, and will let you know if that's the ticket. I downloaded something relating to it the other day and the Wizard led me thru some stuff but I still couldn't transfer photos from the phone to the computer.

    Thanks!

Well it's working, but only partially.. I can look at folders from my phone, most are empty-including the photos folder. Then I was able to copy one photo I already had moving it to another location in the phone, which let me move/copy it to the computer.

But my niece in Cebu did something with the Bluetooth the other day, and when I try to do whatever it was I did to the other photo to the rest her nickname comes up as a choice instead of the choice I had that let me move it to the computer yesterday.

I think I have to move the photos out of the SIM or something, but her name keeps popping up in the prompt instead of the option I need.

just turn off bluetooth, i can't see why ur'using bluetooth if ur connecting via USB. if she left it on, it'll just be wasting battery. an it just looks like she changed your phone profile, it's no big deal as long as there's no password, don't worry about it

as far as i remember about the v3 i think u do have to move all your pics to extended memory to access them via the pc....it's normal

glad u can get at you files now

Well I've got my phone figured out after downloading from your link, and asking some questions. Still can't email a photo, but USB transfer to computer is okay.

My wife's Razr though has no memory card. Can't use the same software for that one evidently. Do I have to download more software to be able to access photos from her non-memory card equipped Razr?

    TIA

there's software called motorola phone tools that may help you, but from memory, u have to send to the send to extended memory card.

can't u just put your card in her phone and do it?

You will find it may register two drives, on mine a K & L drive I use widows explorer and use the later drive to get at the picture. It because the phone has an extra memory chip. When you put your wife phone on only one drive will appear it should be no problem

Hope I have been of some help

Nope, no slot for a memory card. I'll try and dig around Sony online and see if there's info.
