⌛ Rent a car in DMGT !

Greetings to all,

Wanna know if it is possible to rent a car in Dumaguete ?

Just small one will do, how much per day in Pesos ?


Do we require an international driving license ?

A foreign license will do for your first 90 days here. You should try to contact Andy from seaside bar He rents self drive cars but I dont know how much. Or there are a few other places in town

 

This is a question I was meaning to ask, so it is great to know that a foreign license will work. Any info on the other places that rent cars?

Make sure to shop around, this is my 6th time hiring a car / 4x4 . First time it was aroud 2,500 peso per day ( squeezed a free days rental after the 10 days). Each time I play one off against the others and I hired a nice Crosswind last year for 20,000 peso for just short of 3 weeks. This year I just emailed my offer for the same amount for just over 3 weeks and it was accepted. ( private hire )

you can rent a 8 seater Pajero at Kens trading, also a 9-seater (can't remember what it is) for 2.800 a day

I have a brother-in-law who is a member of a van for hire organization in the province. Let me try to consult him if he has some folks who offer the service you require. Will let you know once I have the info from him.

Also, if you will be interested in any van or similar vehicle, I can try to arrange that with him.
