    when i was in the service, i had to deal with quite a wide number of different nationalities. this got me interested but never really had the chance to have the focus to learn a foreign language. any of the expats here willing to share a lesson or two? i was interested in french, german, russian, mandarin, hebrew, arabic during my time at work. any inputs please?

    If you have the money you can get a software, Rosetta Stone and learn any language that you want. Language Learning with Rosetta Stone
    My daughter's BF has been using it now for 2 months and he is learning fast. I just have to give him a special lesson on all the bad words. The software does not cover that. Although finding a friend who speaks the language is a much better option.
