Hi I will be traveling with Pravadaseeker my husband in June to your wonderful land of Philippines. Looking forward to a beautiful adventure vacation. I will from time have some questions. If any case the Philippines will be our new home in 2 years or so. I love the water so the island and beaches will do me fine. I love to cook and sew. Looking forward to learning how to cook from another country. I am very impressed with NegrosOriental Valencia. I am from a small town in Arizona around 28,000. With my medical condition Iwould do better in a dryerclimate. Its too cold for me up here. Keep in touch when you can love to hear from you.

    Dryer Climate?

If a dry climate is a serious requirement for the preservation of your health - don't come here! We have recently entered the "dry" season. Dry, that is, in the sense that it is NOT raining all the time.

Dry does NOT apply to humidity. It's close to 100% all the time during this season. Try monitoring this URL for a daily weather forecast for DGT:

I always thought that Arizona was dry. It's not? Better tell the USAF to move all those aircraft in the boneyard at Davis-Montham before they rust.

    Response To Dryer Climate?

    Hello there,

I got home from work, and my wife tells me she signed up for the DI forum too.
I say ok... and go to read her first post..

We had this discussion just prior to you posting this...lol...

My wife has a hard time using the right words sometimes... dryer was not the word she needed to use.. warmer, and steady temp is what she wants. Her doctor knows she is looking for possible settling over there in your DI city area.. and he knows the climate is tropical..

She will do this when we are talking sometimes... it WILL drive you insane for a short time.. but she can't help it, it happens occasionaly.. it will throw someone for a loop who don't know her, and her ways sometimes..

She knows it rains alot over there... I told her that she must choose her words very carefully, because people will take you for just exactly what you write..he he. And your response is just what I told her would happen due to the words she chose to use...lol... oh well... live and learn..

    Pravda....

I agree with Dumaguetenia that gardening will do you wonders. Valencia is a perfect place for you.
