⌛ Road/City Map of Dumaguete and surroundings

Unsuccessfully I have tried the search function in this forum.

Does anyone has a good road/city map of Dgte and surroundings? So far I found only sketchy and outdated maps.

Me too, please. All I can find in the bookstores are pretty general and badly scaled touristy type maps. The photo map in Google Earth is a big help but it only covers out to Sibulan and Valencia.

Where can you get 1:50K or 1:250K topographic coverage or is that data a state secret?

 

Agreed -- I've had a tremendously difficult time finding a map; I found a link to one (not terribly detailed, but better than I've found so far):

An interesting graphic. Thanks for providing it. It came through well and has good detail. It's OK, providing you do not wish to go north to the airport, west of downtown or south of the Banica River.

The maps in Google Earth or Google itself do better than that.

I remember there is a map on the book shelf (PDAI manual) in Adventure Dive Shop , maybe you guys can borrow it from Mike to have a Xerox copy

Wonderful if you are content to live your life within the confines bounded by the sea, the Banica river, the airport and about Foundation University.

I'd still like a real map - along the lines of a topographical 1:50K scale. Any sources for these?

 

i don't know if that map exists, have you had a look at google earth?
I have seen a fairly good map at the police station here, and yes i seem to be spending much too much at that place, although on tuesday i've been invited there for positive reasons this time!! I'll ask where they got it from

just a while ago the guys of google earth updated the map of dumaguete and its quite good i think... dumaguete - Google Maps


i dont know where it was but somewhere in the www i found this map
