⌛ Laundry services you like/dislike?

We're switching from Brightwash on Silliman after once again (like 7yrs ago) things are disappearing from our wash taken there-and of course they don't know anything.

A friend takes his to a place just north of PNB by BPI? on the west side of the road for 6yrs with no problems. That's where we'll take ours from now on.

 

Hire a maid/Labandera?

 

we get ours hand washed, it's better than the laundry service we used to use near national book store

 

..We've been discussing that, but can't decide on the right age. My wife says a 71yo labandera would be about right-I'm thinking more like a 21yo myself

 

Well at least your wife isn't guilty of being "age-ist"!

 

Then you have to ask yourself, "which one will really do the laundry?"

 

why not get a washing machine? So far every trip I have lost/messed up items having it done

 

I don't know what you other people think.. but I would prefer to give the job to a person instead of cutting the job possibilities for people by buing a machine.

Im not sure my heart will stand having an 18-25y old washing on her knees over a bucket in my sight.. that might kill me.. perhaps I go för a 71y old.

 

yeah well let some poor (one armed?) washer woman use your laundry machine to make a buck for herself if you want to be social :D Keep that 71y old, that can not handle the heavy work anymore, in bussiness.
