    Hi, the name's Marco :D

I came from the Middle East since the summer of 2007. And now i'm planning to buy a bike. So I would like to know what exactly are the requirements in owning a bike? From the process of getting the driver's license, the license plate and other things i'd need to have for driving a motorbike around Duma.

Btw, I'm buying the motorbike in cash price so no installment fees. Apparently, since I don't have a permanent address here I can't avail it.

I would greatly appreciate your help guys

To be more specific, the motorbike I want to buy is the Yamaha CryptonZ 2009 edition.
Here's the link for more info:
    Yamaha CryptonZ

I'll be buying it from the Yamaha dealer store at North road. I've went through their application paper and the only things I'm wondering about is the driver's license and the Barangay clearance. Also the license plate for the bike. Is there a difference between the motorbike, scooter or whether its new or used? Well, besides the obvious.

License plate should be done by the dealer, if not go to another one...

Rusi engines are exactly the same (just other stickers) they do all for you also Dueksam.

for a motorbike you need a driving license (I mean a real one) for a scooter you need to attend a seminar 3 hours or so... (but could be also wrong with that), I am sure most just buy a scooter, sit on it and drive away, with a temp plate 2 weeks later you get a txt and pick your original one.

for a new one your dealer should handle all the paperwork, if not, change the dealer !!! A used one involves a bit more paperwork when bought from privat.

Thanks, I'll inquire at the Yamaha sore later about the license plate. So, how would you get a real driver's license?
