I'm sure you'll love living in ANP. They did an outstanding job putting that development together. I like the wide streets and underground power there. Very nice area....

I stayed about a week in Bermuda Beach Resort in January 2009. Good place with good food. Swiss guy Francis with wife Zenaida are the owners. Nice people. If you go there give my regards from Stefan in Sweden. What I didnt get was where Sipalay came into this, I thought you were going to Dumaguete!?

    Swede ...

I was going to Duma until I found out that Highway 3 going across the mountains is all tore up, so I just changed my mind and took the 4 hour drive down to Sipalay instead. My wife and I spent 2 nights there.

I wanted to see the Bermuda Resort on Sugar Beach, but wound up on Punta Ballo Beach instead. Stayed at the Nataasan Resort (located next to Artistic Diving Resort).

The Nataasan Resort is really nice. Very friendly staff, and I think the rooms/bungalows are about the nicest in the area, but there are 2 things I did not really like about the place:

    1. The old owner was from Belgium. I heard the food was very good when that guy owned the place. About a year ago, it was sold to an American and his Filipina wife. Since they reside full time in the US, the wife has her family running the place. They are doing a great job, but the menu and food has really gone downhill. I would recommend that anyone staying at Nataasan eat next door at Artistic.

    2. Unlike all the other resorts on Punta Ballo Beach, the Nataasan is not down on the beach. It is located up on a high cliff that overlooks the ocean (very very beautiful view) .... but, climbing up those steps from the beach to the resort is a killer (especially if you have been out drinking). I also would not recommend it for older people that may have a difficult time climbing steps ... theres lots of them!

Anyway, we had a nice get-away from Bacolod!

I know I went there on a daytrip and climbed those steps on my way back up to the main road from the beach!! But I walked back all the way to sugar beach after that
