    anita,

dunno if it helps, but PNB was what my mother-in-law used when she was in the US then.

A couple of times we deposited in her account thru PNB Dgte, and she was able to withdraw from the US.

Don't have ideas about ATM's though.

Also, the problem with PNB-Dgte, is that their are so many people at any given time inside. To make a transaction takes at least a couple of hrs.

anita - you mentioned 'him' as the branch manager of Metrobank. Would the branch happen to be the one located at a corner?

    Thanks.

    kewl,

    dunno about PNB having cards.

    anita,

May I suggest checking with PS Bank. Although they are a subsidiary of Metrobank, they do have different systems. And being a smaller and new bank (to Dumaguete), the managers are easy to talk to. They entertain even small time depositors.

Also another is what use to be Equitable PCI Savings Bank. Dunno what its called now as it was bought by BDO. It's located along Sta. Rosa St., sort of at the "back" of STEDS-Sta. Rosa.

    Managers name is Clem.

    aying,
thanks but I am too far to do anything with the bank. Currently, I am living here in the US. It's been so difficult to deal with business in the Philippines when I am too far away. I am not planning to change or transfer to any bank in the Philippines. I just have to be patience until I am home in Dumaguete. Another thing...metrobank do not volunteer informations like having access to online banking. I have to find out for myself then talking to them about it it's like I am begging.

    It is difficult indeed.

Well, I guess their really nothing you can do right now, as you are in the US.

Most banks do lack the marketing, when it comes to these things like online banking, and other programs.
