⌛ Friends in Dumaguete

Hi,

My name is Epifanio San Jose. I lived in Dumaguete City from 1972 to 1974 during my childhood. My father at that time worked in GSIS Dumaguete Branch.
I had fond memories of my stay there which sometimes I share with my kids. I live in Melbourne Australia now and someday I want to visit Dumaguete again. I am just looking for some information regarding my childhood friends. My family lived in a apartment Orchid St. in Daro. That apartment was owned by a Flores family who also ran the Orchid store. My childhood friends Patrick, Sydney, and Filemon Flores was from that family. I am also looking for some information on Gelzen Dizon.

i try to contact the people living near your apartment before, im sure the Dizon family still leaves near by, and some near karate club.

i dont know if you are still familiar with these names, kadoc, lenford,cromwel,baltik,bongot,zamora family,adiong

 

Gelzen Dizon

Dili na ko ka sulti cebuano. Although I can still read and understand Cebuano. I once traced a old classmate reading Visayan online newspapers. Salamat for the reply. Is still Gelzen Dizon leaving near there? He was kind of my best friend at that time. By the way I forgot to mention that they know me by my childhood nickname of Junjun. The other names sound familiar and I use to play soccer with the kids there. Also I must mention that Gelzen Dizon's father was a policeman. Later on I heard that Gelzen Dizon's brother was killed. Is the Orchid's Store still there? Is the Flores family still leaving in the big house behind the store.

my guess is that u r referring to egay dizon as the brother of gelzen. i lived in that area near you at that time. perhaps we did see each other before. i was just a stone's throw at willy's store. the dizons are still there. elvis also passed away early. he was a schoolmate.

yes I remember egay was brother of gelzen. we probably me during that time as there I remember playing with a lot of kids at dusk. do you know gelzen personnally? I wondered what happened with him. also, do you have news on patrick, sydney and filemon flores. thanks very much for replying.
