⌛ DI is spamming it's members

We need to apologize for plenty of email send to or members in the early morning hours of July 11.

Due to a wrong setting from our side you guys may have received spam mails with link-back notifications.

One of our members send me a mail, and we changed that to the correct settings.

We still play around with some options. Whenever you find something working wrong, we highly appreciate your input in a appropriate way to rhoody@dumagueteinfo.com

But No problem I do have a delete button on the screen. :D

When I look for the new postings I can now go on to the end I think 108 pages .
It is of course no problem but I wanted to let you know that.

J. the setting of the latest haven't changed.
New post are always at the end of the thread.

If you click on the starting page under "last post" on the thread, it jumps to the last unread post of that thread.

If you click on "New Posts" you see the last posts since your last time logging in. If there are many answers after your last visit, you may end somewhere in the middle of a thread.

If you click under "Quick Links" on "today's Post" you see the first post done in that thread in the last 24 hrs.


To change that the latest post is on top of the list and the oldest at the end pleas follow following steps:

1.) click on User CP
2.) scroll down to "Settings & Options" and click "Edit Options"
3.) scroll down to "Thread Display Options " and choose your own preferred settings (oldest first, newest first)

Hope it helps... thanks again, as we see things (as Mod or Admin) a bit different displayed, your input is needed to optimize stuff...

Kuya.. no problem... I just had the advantage that I had already 5 coffee as I was up since 5:30 am, dealing with some real "stupid" stuff on another page, so your mail came exactly right to "off-gas" a little bit... hehe ... lets call it a draw.

But please no critics for tomorrow morning (lunch - time is ok again)... I plan on a night out after that day and my hang-over posts are always not nice... hehe

how do I turn of btw the 'subscribing' to threads? it is rather annoying to get all this mail
