⌛ My bag is packed

and at 04:35 a.m. Monday, Anchorage Alaska time, I will be on flight 011 China Air headed for Manila and on to Dumaguete. If my connections in Taipei and Manila are made on time I will be in Dumaguete at 15:55 p.m. on Tuesday the 14.
Can't wait to see all the smiling faces.
I sure hope to be able to make one of the D.I. gatherings while I'm there.
My beloved Maria will be arriving on Monday ahead of me.
I'll see you all soon.

You must get up with the Filipinos. It's just after 5 a.m.
You are from Ottawa and now you living half the way around the world.
I was born and raised in Michigan and when I get to Dumaguete I have to stand on a chair to get any farther away from Michigan and that is the way I like it.

 

We're up just a little (lot) earlier than normal to go fly the dawn patrol with CP to Cebu and on to Davao tomorrow.

I have to get there early to help wind up the big rubber band which drives the ATR through the air. Je! Je! Je!

Only Annabelle and I! I wound the elastic band so tight that we made it in record time. We're now seated at the rooftop restaurant ofthe Fuente pension in Cebu enjoying our breakfast. Net stop is the Canadian Consulate for my new passport. Later today, we goto the Bureau of Immigration for my 13A visa - very exiting.

So Dave when will you get back to Dumaguete? Maria and I would love to buy you and your family a dinner in hopes that we could get to know each other. Maria will be checking in to the Bethel on Monday and I get there on Tuesday. I will be heading to the Anchorage air port in 7 hours, it takes just over an hour to get there from Wasilla.

Dr. Anna and I will be back probably on Saturday, unless she is stolen away by the orchids in Davao. That's also a distinct possibility!

We'll return with my shiny new Canadian passport, complete with 13A visa. Both were received today in Cebu. There are a couple of new posts in those minor triumphs themselves. More later on the visa.

You and Maria should be well arrived and well reacquainted with each other by then, Meanwhile, welcome to Dumaguete!

How about buffet lunch or dinner at the Bethel on Sunday? Mid-day ish or early evening, your choice.
