My name is Marc, but I'm using Tardis as my username.

I haven't scratched the surface of this web site, but I can''t wait. I'm happy to be here, and I hope you welcome me.

    God bless you,

    Tardis.

P.S: How do I post an avatar to my account? and is it P.S: or P.S.:?

    Hi Marc, buenos tardis

I believe you need at least 10 posts before you can edit your avatar.

p.s., postscriptum is typically p.s. followed by a comma although a colon is acceptable.

    Thanks for the welcome...

Thanks for that! One other question. Take the following sentence and look at the punctuation at the end... which one is correct...

    Example 1)
(The other day I saw her sitting there.)
(The other day I saw her sitting there).

    Example 2)
Once you meet him (and you'll know it when you do,) I wouldn't....

Once you meet him, (and you'll know it when you do), I wouldn't...

Oh the things that plague me! Sorry if this shouldn't be posted in introductions. As a writer, I feel a mild vibe of irritation every time I come to use these finer formatting technicalities.

It's always been a source of confusion when to switch between MLA, APA, and CLA for a fiction story, or a quasi-scholarly paper.

    So thanks in advance everyone.
