its just happened aug 8 around 9-10 am, when this huge narra tree collapsed along the highway near pulan tubig bridge, just in front of NSO office, near st. paul. Its lucky though, it happens in saturday not on other day like classes time, we all knew this area is too busy, traffic always happened. And sad to say, there is one pedicab driver didnt escape from accident. One of narra branch hit his pedicab and this pedicab driver died on the spot. For further information just read the news article. I cant give the whole exact story. But before it happened were on the way to st. paul, were suppose to pass this area. But we amazed lot of people running through that area 10 minutes ago before we arrived unexpected tragedy happened. Before this happened, weeks ago people around noticed that there are some changes on this narra tree, but no one reported it to make an action.

here are some photos that i took from accident:

    Thanks for sharing...

I always wonder with trees and other wired "constructions". And I am also guilty not to say anything.
I hope I will change that, that I can at least say.... "I tried to do something"

Having looked at the very last image, it looked more like an acacia tree.

One less trike in Dumaguete? I didn't notice.

Not that it's surprising that it was a trike that was struck. If you were to take out any moving vehicle at random in Dumaguete, the odds are pretty good that it's going to be a trike.

Sorry, I couldn't help but crack some jokes on this one. On a more serious note, my regards go out to the family of the driver.
