Im staying at the CheckInn Hotel just down the street from the Hotel Palwa towards the water...5 minute walk to the boulevard ,1 minute to McDo,3 min to Lee plaza..I tryed to stay at the Palwa but due to a convention here it was fully booked..The room is not big but adequate and clean with a friendly staff..They have wifi and wired in the room..My room is facing the street so it is noisy..By the way its guest friendly....

Just a note of thanks to those who recommended the Nicanor Hotel. We stayed there in September and found it to be a very pleasant experience. Very clean and with a friendly staff. Smoking is allowed in some rooms and a balcony on each floor if you would rather smoke outside. Free wifi in each room. Right accross the street is Scoobie's, Chow King and Jolibee's. The immediate area seems very safe and a short walk to the Blvd.

    Recommend highly.
