    Talking about these pitiful Smart download speeds...
    Say does anyone know of a program that can download and spool flash media so that I can watch it uninterrupted. Presently when I try to watch the news like nightly.msnbc.com it is really frustration to have to watch the segments stop and start and sometimes never get competed. Would much prefer to have the segment completely download before watching it.

    Travelingman,
    Do you have Real Player downloaded on your computer? If so all you have to do is right click over the video you have started watching and a box will pop up that says "download to Real Player". I tried it on the link/website you provided and it works fine!

    adsl in the smaller towns?

    Can one get adsl service in the smaller towns around dumaguete, cause i work online so it is importand for me to have reliable internet. I must get adsl and then also a backup 3g or something Thanks in advance for advise.

    We have had smartbro for 3.5 years. The first couple of years we normally got 300+ Mbps, but sometime last year they capped it at 100.

    However, our majic jack works perfectly.

    Can you pls try...if you go to cbs.com and try to download news or Letterman segments there is a message that these cannot be downloaded..do you get the same thing?

    I don't get that message. All the ones I tried, Real Player was able to download fine.
