⌛ National Highway

Couldnt believe it this morning that they have actually started to dig up more of the highway towards Bajumpandan. Am I the only person who is sick fed up with bumping along into town everyday?
Doesnt seem that anyone is overseeing the work and no new concreting has happened for weeks, presumably because supplies are low given that half of negros roads are being replaced.
Why do they need to dig up more when they havent even begun to finish the stuff they dug up 6 months ago. Aaaaah!

If you think your South Rd. is bad, take a ride going up the North Rd! It's being replaced ALL the way to Bais...the Polo bridge, too. Talk about a bumpy ride.....
Right now, it takes me a hour to get from "DreAMLANd" to Duma - on a good day, light traffic and all the flag men actualy being at their posts and working in coordination with their patrner at the opposite stretch of the construction area. (I've seen "Go" signs at each end of a 1 way section of roaday....then there's a whopper of a traffic jam in the middle and no one wants to give way.) You know:....."Me First".
Ahhhhh, my going to Duma is an adventure in and of itself! LOL.:D

 

You are not alone. I cannot believe they bust up (perfectly good) asphalt before they have finished concreting the other sections around them and are not ready to concrete the newly destroyed areas.

I am beginning to think the road contractors got their training at Noreco...

 

If a grant were promised to build a new government hospital, do you suppose they would insist on tearing the old one down before the new was was built?

 

There is a budget that must be used or it will be cut during the next fiscal year (usually the end of Oct.) if it;s not used the budget will be cut for the following year.Bear with it! When it's done it's done. Welcome top the P.I. boys

 

I agree with all of you. I observe there's more destroying going on more than repairing. Although these guys insist in saying that they are "repairing" the roads, we are still not convinced since we witness how they just start digging and leaving the work to dig some more. They are only destroying more and more roads and very little repairing is going on. Are they thinking that they are making a good impression on the voters?

 

In me, they are too slow doing it, why digging up again in another side, if the first side they dig is not yet finished. In some part of island, like in Cebu its not that slow and not that too dull. Even the Robinson Mall is very slow. People waiting for it to finished, so you can go in one place and find everything you want in ONE.

Too bad road, too bad to shop for now, But i think next year it will be fine! i hope :D.

Well i heard it may take awhile to finish the road, but we all hope it will be done as soon as possible.

I think, after the road is done, a lot of pedicabs, bike or even old cars need to be fixed. hehehe. :D

 

Out of a 20 person construction crew, 19 guys know how to destroy things and one guy actually knows how to build a road.
