we went to "ang boulevard" for a videoke it was good place to sing and enjoy the night it is fully airconditioned so i can say that no sea breeze can be breathe.bt if you want to stay till dawn i recommend "san moritz" though the place is not really elegant but the sound is good and the price is reasonable along with good ambiance near the beach or the lover's lane but it is ideal to go there with your own vehicle or else u might end up walking a kilometer far to the airport side.we enjoyed there a lot, am with my wife so there is no need to look for hot chicks

Karaoke is at the back of the convenience store owned by a foreigner... it also has WIFI, internet, Good Fast food (Filipino style)and Multimedia services...I will post some photos on a website sooner or later

its a nice place and not over priced...


Positives- Spacious, Comfortable and new so more private for now, Clean, and it can operate all night if you want! The Noise doesn't escape...

Negitives- Its a little hot- but after a while you adjust and you can get all the fans you want! Maybe aircon when business picks up..., stocks in Convenience store is not 100% yet... no real Foreigner food yet but I love what my Chef Cooks:-)

There used to be a karaoke night in the ballroom area towards the back of The Honeycomb.The sound system was actually pretty good and not so distorted.I sang in there about a year or two ago while I was eating dinner.There is also a ktv machine at the "Time Out" bar located across the street from the Ongoing Robinson's project,but there are Girls in there,so don't say You haven't been warned,and As far as I know,the Owner from the U.S. I have been to Ang Blvd several times.It's very dark in there,and there are GRO'S sitting to Your immediate left as soon as You walk in the door,but You won't notice Them until after Your eyes adjust.There are also private KTV rooms there for a small Fee. That's probably the best place to go if You like to sing. The Why Not's lazer Karaoke is rather small and smokey if You ask Me.Be prepared to smell like an ash tray once You leave there if You don't smoke.Other than that it's not too bad,and for You single Guys out there You can also pay 1,500 pesos and get Your own private room there along with the company of one of the GRO'S which will also include something like 9 drinks for Her and Your own Personal KTV. If all else fails,just like They said,You can go from street corner to street corner and if You hold Your breath long enough and don't blink Your eyes You're bound to stumble across a bunch of them.It seems like every eatery You come across has one,especially at nightime..

 

Had to google what a "GRO" is. "Guest Relations Officer" LMAO!!

 

Time Out near the new Robinson's Mall has a great Karaoke Bar on the second floor. It also has a Billiards Room next to it with 2 new tables. A new Disco will open on the 1st floor on Oct 12th.

 

somehow I wonder why business owner always try to promote their stuff here and taking advantage of the work of others without giving any value or using the given options for commercial advertising and help with that to keep that little site alive and up to date...

... but we have also plenty of business owners here who support DI, are active members and would NEVER spam the board... as a matter of fact, some are quite active and give good information and value to our little community and the visitors who are interested in this area...

Rhoody I completely understand and agree with your position that business owners should support this website if they are going to "plug" their business on it. Sometimes it is difficult for me to differentiate between a "member" response and that of a business owner. I am the new owner of Time Out and would be very happy to follow the procedures as an advertiser and commercial supporter of this very fine website. Please direct me to the section that covers this matter or some other way that I may promote my business here in the proper way. Thanks!!

hi, will be going to dumaguete, this june 2011 together with my partner. we might check inn to bethel house, but i dont know if it is ok.. and just would like to know the restaurants we should eat during lunch and dinner... and of course the nightlife of dumaguete.... i would like to know the good bars, preferrably many foreigners, because they dont care whatever you wear and whatever you do.... right? and also bars with pretty GRO's... haha... we might get one, to chat along.... hope you can give me info where to go, dine and drink... hopefully, romantic areas....
