You could teach English to students. The financial compensation would be little, but it would give you something worthwhile to do with your time. It's also a great opportunity for you to easily pick up other languages. That's never a bad thing.

 

I'm thinking about pulling my money out of the stock market, combining that with my social security check, and opening a place somewhere in the Philippines set up like the Chicken Ranch in Nevada, complete with airstrip and all the trimmings.

Nahh... probably not a good idea but one can dream... right?

 

Why not? Filipinos love chicken! :D

 

I had to Google the Chicken Ranch...this ain't Nevada! Your competition here is ubiquitous and prices are a tiny fraction of those of the States...not to mention that despite the ubiquity, the business would be illegal here!

With a dream like that perhaps Amsterdam should be your destination.

 

OK ... just trying to liven up the thread. Yes, the above post was certainly "in jest". Besides, the Chicken Ranch thing has already been done many times in Angels and they already have an excellent airport, compliments of the US government.
