I would like to bring to your attention that our Gas prices are very expensive!

    Manila Prices:

    Unleaded 37-38php
    Diesel 32php

    Dumaguete prices

    Unleaded 47 php
    Diesel 38php

We the consumers would like to know why this is so? despite our depots in amlan the prices are still very high if they say transport cost hmmmm.....are you sure it costs 9pesos PER LITER????? that is crazy! Fuel station owners here are making more than they should!

WHY ARE WE NOT DOING ANYTHING?!!!

    PLEASE PLEASE..

Yes, does look a bit suspicious to me...but by world standards....still not a bad price. Our unleaded in Perth would be just slightly more...diesel a lot more. Outside of Perth the price goes up, sometimes dramatically. Some bush locations are around 80 pesos a litre when you do the conversion. Anyway, it's only going to get worse....a lot of new consumers out there - couple billion actually....and they'd all like to have a car and are buying them now - or as soon as they can. China, India, Russia, etc....Very few large oil fields coming on line and when they do they are usually deep sea and expensive to extract. The oil age is coming to an end....

Well. Unleaded price of 47 PHP/liter was our price in 1985.
Today I have to pay 104 PHP for the same liter. And I'll say that almost all European countries will have a price in that range.
Price of raw oil (Brent blend) today is 3636.33 php/ barrel.
So in general I dont feel sorry for you down there.
What I really feel sorry for is lowclass and low midclass Philipino families with Philippino salaries.:(
