Yes Vicente Dumaguete is growing but has no where near the resources that SA or Dubai has and look where they may be heading. It is better to make a planned and steady growth then try and force growth. If you do not build things well and properly they eventually fall down.

 

Dumaguete cannot be compared to dubai or SA. Like these countries you have to pay more for anything. SA is such a boring place to live.
I am positive that dumaguete will grow steadily and its neighbor cities and municipalities.

 

Dubai World a state owned corporation maybe in the brink of bankcruptcy or at least deep financial trouble. The country may be in for a very significant economic change but I don't think this will bankcrupt it in anyway. It's financial standing in the world has, in a way, suffered a "black eye."

Sounds unbelievable, this is Dubai, this cannot be.. but with the decline of tourism coupled with overzealous building and development and over borrowing, this corporations are rumored to soon default on a 60 billion dollar loan. Like anything else, time will tell if they survive this challenge, and i'm sure they will.

Meanwhile those of us who are invested in the market will have to tighten our belts further and get ready for another downhill ride. It sucks big time...

 

Don't tell me that the rest of the World will have to bail out the Oil rich Arab nation's !
Then again that sounds about right....The rich get richer and the poor get poorer!
