    Did I deny that ?
No problems with them at all.
Judge a person on his behavior and not on his/her background, religion, sex, appearance, money or whatever second order aspect.
Although I personally always had preferences for women.
    I don't know why :D
If I was a Filipino I probably should like to have online dating with a Filipina.
But truly ......online dating is only a substitute.
Prefer to look into someones REAL eyes when talking to him/her.
You know what happened with that American who lost 100,000 pesos to his Filipina GF who looked on the webcam exactly the same as a famous Filipina actress

Nope, I don’t have to be online for that…I’ll visit home ( Dumaguete ) then find my old high school sweetheart now a doctor at the medical center then bring her back.

As for this Westerner who got shafted by a Pinay???
I don’t know the real story; this guy could be very mental, real desperate. I just don’t know.

    No victim, no crime!

OK guys, listen up! I only have the time and space to very briefly summarize 20 years of police work. 2 "golden rules:"

    1. DO NOT send scammers money! (This applies to ANY scammer and any scam--whether it be personal or professional!) If you're not face to face, it's definetly a scam. Even if you are face to face, it's probably a scam!

    2. DO NOT "import" these girls! Why would you want to take a perfectly wonderful Pinay and RUIN her with USA values? Visit her when you can, and when you retire, if she's still loyal to you, then you join her full time.

As far as legality goes, in the USA, I would call "no victim, no crime." Even if what she did is illegal in Phil, she has no positive identity. Almost impossible to figure out who she really is! Like the other poster said, as STUPID as this guy is, he is very lucky that he "only" lost P100k....

Concerning No 2. I know what you mean, I dated several imports first but there was just something missing or was it newly acquired. Now that its over and I made the decision to get my own pinay I see that I did the right thing. There are many things they learn are possible in the new country but that does not mean they are all good.

    JFYI a short story

People are people, somebody said in these forums a long time ago.

In our filam community, a new member just moved in from Norfolk, VA,
Yes, a retired navy guy who married a pinay, this pinay is constantly complaining about getting woken up in the middle of the night coz hubby couldn’t sleep and wanted her to make a cup of coffee for him.

    Who is the victim?

So what did the guy really....

lose a weekend in Las Vegas. Boy's there is no such thing as a mail order bride. How could anyone make a life long commitment to a person they have never met? just looking at a computer screen the only thinking this guy was doing was below the belt. Why would any woman agree to marry a man she has never seen in person.

Are there any women here that would marry a man they have never met in person? I would really like to know..

The article refresh every one mind that this case still happenning dispite all what the DI members been contributed in the past and the advance technology in the internet.

Rhoody stated, "I can surely tell you that you get from 99% of the longnoses the answer: " I read it all, but my girl is so different". Well, it is the same what 99% of the girls say: "Take care of the scammer, there are many out there, but I am different"."

The Dude, "I wonder how many stupid foreigners are sending money to a Karylle clone. That chick gets around."

Me too, is wondering . My hope that this people will learned well and will take responsibility of their own mistake and poor judgement. And spared Philippines as a country and still more good hearted Filipino the blame.

camanjac, i make my boyfriend grilled cheese in the middle of the night . I called it love . I know what you want to say. You asking who is the victim ? no one if she will do something about it.To tell her hubby that it bother her and he can make his own coffee if it is made in the middle of the night.
