My first reaction when I got off the plane was "what the f***?!" However, it's worth noting that a year later I'm still here.

Marie, welcome to Dumaguete and glad you like it here. I'm from Texas so if you open up a Mexican Resturant I will be waiting anxiously at your door for it to open. Good luck in your house hunting.

LOL...Carl...Lake Havasu....I actually swam across it from the California side when I was a teenager just for fun. Dodged a couple boats but the most memorable part was playing tag with the dumb carp....you could swim up to them, and often grab them if you were a bit quick...Great swim...and then had to swim back...Don't know if it is still the same but it was a great spot out in the desert....

LOL...crocodiles bite and don't know anything else...I stay away from them...I'd much rather see a great white in the water.
Carp would be the dumbest fish on the planet. You could find a big girl, give her a good root, and she would be so brain dead she wouldn't say thanks...

Reedee, I will not be so polite as to wait for you to open a restaurant, I will be at your door begging for food if you are a good mexican food cook. GULP!, I will even help do the cooking. :D

Wow!! I am planning to move there, and will be a customer if you do open a restaurant. Tell your husband that I love Enchiladas as well.
