⌛ Latest Text-Message - News

as my cell-number is public, I get all kind of weird text messages on my cell. I am sure some of the valuable readers are receiving a kind of the same texts from unknown numbers.

Here are some examples for those members who don't know what kind of txt I am talking about:

"Jesus loves you. send this to 20 friends and you go to heaven, delete this txt and bad things happen" ...worst thing which can happen is your crappy txt is stealing my time

"I can't pay my rent this month" ... you mean like each month in the past...

"My ( insert random family member or family animal here ) is sick and needs medicine"

"I don't have money to send to my family and they force me to send money" ...well, just bring your cell to the pawnshop and save additional money on load, your pamily will be thankful


"I want to get a passport so i can visit my boyfriend" ... which one of the 8.5 boyfriends ?

"I borrowed money and have to return it tomorrow, or i will be in big trouble" ...how about a job instead of Friendster and Yahoo-Chat?

"Its my birthday, what's your present?" ... really? for the THIRD time this year? ​

I never answer and just delete them, but that one below just came in a few minutes ago ..

"My father wants to run for the head of the area in my province and he needs to pay out many bribes"
....

Whoops sorry, are any of those texts from my phone? At least a few of those situations were applicable to me last month. :D

 

Dude, I guess in that case I need to apologize, sometimes I reply:

"Thanx for you text but please use my new number: 091x 3136 XXX" :p

.. I am sure you can fill in the "blanks" :D:D:D

I reply sometimes with:

Hi people. I'm new here. You said at the top that your cell number is public? Is that the case in phils? Are all cell numbers public? Just curious. I'm in Texas USA but moving to phils in 28 days. Is there any way to keep your cell number private?

all cell numbers are private, as long you give it to nobody (not even to your wife). don't buy any e-load and don't write it on a calling card.

Well what is the use of a phone if nobody can call you.

I have the same number since 8 years and it still surprises me sometimes where I get text's from. Sometimes also very positive surprises :-)

"the baby need milk..."

he text back..,

"sorry we are not that close." :p
