hi! I'm new here. I'm from Manjuyod but now resides in Sibulan with my wife. I thought somebody from the net might help us with our problem...
We went home to Butuan (my wife's place) last dec. 19-28, 2009. We rode the boat back to Cebu but unfortunately when we rode the Ceres bus from Cebu to Liloan, 1 of our baggage (a black & gray medium-sized wheeled luggage) fell from the bus (of course without our knowledge) because the conductor forgot to lock the running board...You just can't describe how devastated we were when we found out that our bag was lost. The conductor said that he will be looking for it but until now he could not find it. What should we do about it?

LOL, you do know Cebu is one of the most corrupt places in this hellhole of a country?
Anyways, don't hope of ever getting it. Chances are, it was swiped at the terminal with the conduktor's accomplice o_O

I suggest you report it to LTO Region 7 Cebu,,,its located beside the terminal,,,,give the bus number, driver and conductor name if you have it, keep the bus ticket you got that trip. This would cause you time and money,,but if you got important things to recover just give it a try. And if LTO does nothing report it to BOMBO Radio Cebu.

Try to report it to the Ceres bus management because its the conductor's negligence, he should have locked knowing there are luggages inside. Due to his careless, that happened...LTO, has nothing to do with it...its the bus company's management. Report it,thats the best thing to do, but i dont think so it will be honored this time because that happened a week ago. Should have reported it, a bloter would do..

    Galba, welcome to the forum.
I believe that Pretty_edem is the one with the right answer.
I hope for you they will find it back but that chance is the same i.m.o. as getting a white Christmas in the Philippines.
    Good luck !
