Anywhere ??? Each resort has it's pool. There are on a distance of 20 km north and south of Duma more than 30 resorts, so enough space to swimm for you
The university has also one and in front of the boulevard they have a very huge pool (don't go there at low tide :D)

Why not has 4 pool, there are plenty of places to play pool but take care, the locals are good in and some of them earn their income w/ that

We will be away for two weeks. We have scheduled a trip to Sagada in northern Philippines to see the rice terraces. We take yearly trips with our old college friends.

I am pretty sure her church will take good care of her. If she needs some help , let me know.

That is a huge selection Rachel !!! How does one decide??? Anyone been to or can recommend one over the others? I am so overwhelmed on what to do..as I do not want a resort that cost a fortune and would love a safe clean place with access to a lot of places to go..The daughter in law is in Tanjay staying with the church pastor while she is helping for 5 months then will return to Canada..So anywhere near Tanjay would be great as well..we just want things to see and experience as well as this is our only chance to come to the Philippines...

Hi Marion. I'm from Kelowna and just got back from Dumaguete last week. You are in for a huge culture shock if you have not been to a third world country before. Stay at the Bethel Guest House, it is across the street from the ocean. While you are at the Bethel you can check out the other hotels mentioned above. I think you will remain at the Bethel. The" Why Not" is a block down the street to your left as you exit the Bethel, it's a good place to have a drink or a meal.Swiss Chalet is next door and also good.Hope you have a great time.......... Did I mention the Bethel? Forget about the rest of them, you will thank me later and buy me a beer next time you are in Kelowna.

without being offensive, but that is totally crap...

It might have been true 5 years ago, but today Bethel is compared to the others by far the lowest value for money, unless your preferred room-style is cold hospital/slaughterhouse environment with plastic furniture.

2 of the below pictures are from Bethel rooms, and some from other Hotels no need to say which are the Bethel ones
