Well Folks time is flying by, and I will be in Cebu in little over a month.

I have been reading that I should leave my small appliances home, do to the voltage conversion, my thoughts are; can I hardwire a converter to my present appliances, or glue the converter on each on so there is no mis-stakes?

Not sure of the cost there, thinking I will buy converters in Cebu, before going on.

I keep hearing about BEER, what about Vodka, and how much for a 1.5 liter. I am a VK man. VK--> Vodka and Kool Aid, with my luck probibly can't get the Kool Aid.

Also I have a 40 inch LCD TV, I paid $700 on sale, normally $1050.00, when I checked prices for the same TV is was about $2500.00 there. At that price I could ship it via Fed Ex and still be ahead of the game.

I plan to buy a new Laptop, so that should cover the computer issue. I have a sucessful online business and want to continue with it.

Your input would be greatly accepted.

    Cheers, Rod

there are several Vodka Outlets in Duma but I can't say anything about price-level.

The price for a new 40" full HD LCD TV is just above 50K (around 1,100 US$), same for 42" Philipps.

anyway, I saw Kool Aid drinking powder in a mall, didn't look for it specifically, so don't even know where but it must be available here in the PI. It's a "Kraft"-product, would not wonder if even produced here...

    V & k

Now that brings back a memory or two!
Turned on to Vodka & Cool Aid in 1966 Viet Nam. In those days I was traveling on a "M 16" Pass Port. Now days I need a $60.oo visa and a pass port to inter Vietnam.

There are many different flavors of Tang powder You can substitute for kool-aid.You can also use Gatorade. I use both when I'm in Dumaguete, but I mix it with Antonov Vodka made by San Miguel. To Me,Antonov is just as smooth {if not smoother} than almost all of the Vodkas I've mixed with.Best of all, last I checked it, was around P120 per bottle on average, even cheaper when I bought it at "Times" there in Duma. As a tip: Buy the gatorade in in the 8-12oz? Glass Bottle {yes, glass bottle} drink a desired amount down, add Vodka at will and simply screw the metal cap back on between sips......
