Our son sent a small presents to his lady friend in san Jose which vanished somewhere along the way in the Philippine mail, and it's not the first time. We've sent an important documents to the department of Immig in Manila with a "follow-up" letter but also to no avail. There must be some 'light-fingered' people in the Philippine mail service.

Better try the independent mailing companies like lbc. You can even track it where your mails are going.

I have also had mail not arrive from Australia, going out is ok, but into here some never arrives. It seems to be mail that looks like it may containe money, large envolopes, but I am not that silly to send money in the mail.

There's no money in it, it's not even a big envelope, only this courrier postal type of envelope for overseas - just a sentimental value...I dunno why we did it when we've been victimized twice already...what a waste..."VERY DISGUSTING" !!!
