Iam looking to import a used bike frame , just the frame no engine ,wheels ...... . the frame is registrated on my wife's name in Europe .
I would like to import this frame the official way , so what are the taxes on a frame , I now they import Multicabs as a bare chassis from japan , so what about a bike ?? I just love this bike so it really has to come to Dumagauete with me .

    Hello!

Yes you can bring it to the philippines. By the way what is your status in this country? are you married to a Filipina? What is your purpose in staying here? Usually for used motor vehicles it needs an import permit from the Bureau of Import services. Duties for the frame is 15% of the Value plus freight and Insurance. and VAT 12%.... should you need any other informations, please email me at anthony@gaacbrokerage.com

    bicycle tax

    hello!

i have a somewhat related question to the previous post. I've been studying in taiwan for 2 years and i'll be coming back home soon. I was wondering how much tax they impose on bicycles, specifically mountain bikes. is it depending on the bike's value? thanks!

A few years ago I brought a high end racing bike in, in a bike box from Singapore through Mactan no questions asked. I guess it depends how lucky you are.
