    Last night February 13 Ann Rose Neri a beautiful negrense was apparently shot and killed by unknown individuals. That is all i know for now. There are a lot of circumstances surrounding her death I do not know her personally but have heard rumors regarding her dangerous affairs she was rumored to be one of the girlfriends of a dumaguete tycoon *******. She drives a 2009 Blue Sportage (rumored to have been given by her tycoon BF) with a "Supladita on Board" sticker at the back of her car.

    Does anyone here have an idea of the event surrounding her death? Or any information that could help with the investigation? ( Will be greatly appreciated)

    This is such a very shocking incident it is a wake up call to many whether it was a random shooting or a hired killing regardless we should all be careful with what we do and who we encounter.

    I would like to send my heart felt condolence to her family.

    May She rest in peace.

    I remember reading an article sometime last Year in the Negros Chronicle about this same Girl and Her Sister.Evidentally They were assulted in Their own Neighborhood by a group of Women and a couple of Men Who accused the two of Them of being Whores. According to the article there was only some Minor Injuries.. Never heard the other side of the story though....

    Dumaguete City is a nice and interesting place. Peaceful city and clean. But there are some crime. Hope it will not destroy the city, as far as i know many foreigners visits there and some stay there... I like Dumaguete. One thing we need to do, careful....

    Some crime? Wow, I guess everything is relative, but I would hardly say that Dumaguete is experiencing only 'some crime'. I know of six murders in the past year in my barangay alone...and in only one case have I heard of any arrests.

    And this is not considered the 'bad' part of town!

    Here is a post I made on 10/16/09 concerning that assault on Miss duma;

    From the Negros Chronicle:

    Miss Dumaguete 2007 Ann Rose Neri and sister, Charris Yvon Neri, sustained minor injuries after they were assaulted by a group of neighbors aided by two men from Luke Wright, Dumaguete City. The 25-year old Neri had just arrived at their home in Upper Talay, Dumaguete City Tuesday evening on board their service vehicle when a group of four women neighbors aided by two men physically assaulted them while accusing the Neri sisters of being “whores.” A third victim was hit with a flower pot. He was identified as Vincent Azcarraga, 18, also a neighbor of the Neris.
