Back to the real world, and cold. nice to be back with all the high tech toys,
fast broadband, large flat tv etc, not so nice expensive food, booze etc.

Last two days in Manila I had panic attack, was walking down the street, got a bit hot, so got in a small trike with the wife, just fitted in crouched up like a fetus in a shell, (small trike) I started to panic couldn't breath, shouted to the driver stop then pushed my wife out.jumped out bent over trying to breath again, never felt like that before, so I had a cold smb. hate Manila, paranque.

    Welcome Home Jim Eve.
Maybe the panic attack was the thought of the long plane trip back to the UK!
I have to be honest, I dread the 18-19 hour trip. Not scared of flying but it is so boring. Hope you both enjoyed your stay in Philippines, 3 months is the longest I've stayed. Expect to see some great photos of your trip.
    best wishes to you both......John

Hi John, thanks for the welcome home. the panic attack was lack of SMB.LOL.
No only joking, think it was a touch of heat stroke, teach me not to walk in the midday sun.
Yes it was a bit boring on the flight, but plenty of films and video games.
Trying to upload some pics but I get an error when I try to upload the jpeg's
maybe they are too big,and I don't no how to re-size:confused: them.

    Hi Jim.
It COULD of course have been the hot sun on the middle of the day combined with WALKING, combined with the 'fresh air' of Manila
But it also COULD be that you have gained again a bit of weight/size and some tricycles are even too small for an anorexia couple :D
See you and Eve a next time again.

    Paranaque, Metro Manila

Hate it!! Me too, Jim!! EXACTLY the reason we are moving from Paranaque, Metro Manila to Dumaguete!! The pollution is making my husband's COPD worse than ever, and I just cannot stand the crowds, the traffic, and the noise here!! Cannot wait to get to Dumaguete permanently in a couple of months!!
