⌛ looking for vet here in Dumaguete

hi,

I have been burglarized many times this year and lately, I feel that my dogs (just ordinary dogs) are not feeling well... they seemed to be poisoned because they vomited too... I try to give them honey and water with sugar but they won't try to leak it...I don't want them to die for protecting me:(... Please help, where can I find a dog vet in Dumaguete... can be simply a gastro.. some dogs are way sensitive when it comes to a change of food or too much stress. just call him and bring your dogs there, i'm sure they can help you and your dogs.

 

Most common way of poisoning dogs locally, is throwing meat over the wall of the compound, which contains what is called here, "Vetsin". (aka MSG, Mono Sodium Glutamate or Aji-No-Moto, etc etc).
It has no smell, or taste to speak of, but funnily enough is used as a taste enhancer in human food in small quantities, over in Asia.
So, unless you train your dogs only to take food from people they know, I'm afraid it will be hard to prevent that sort of thing happening if some plonker really wants to do it.
