    hand sanitizer, make-up, etc....

I totally understand what you are saying about the ladies who have to keep up their appearance for their jobs....and, quite honestly, I only see a handful of them compared to the number of us visitors/customers. I would think, though, if they are sales people that they can afford hand sanitizer and tissue, though....I buy a bulk pack of tissue at the store for next to nothing, and a small container of hand sanitizer doesn't cost hardly anything either. They have made these things incredibly affordable, I would just like to see more people using them. I am still curious what the ladies, who have to change their pads, do with them, considering the lack of trash cans in the restrooms? Do they put them in their purses until they can dispose of them? I am still trying to figure all of this out.....I'm sorry, I am used to restrooms having toilet seats, toilet paper in each stall, a small trash can in each stall, soap at the sink, paper towels or hand dryers to dry your hands.....and, you go in, do your business and get out so others can do the same, some ladies do a little hair combing or apply some powder....but usually very quick.

Believe me, reedee, I am been all through that myself - I am lucky I am a house-mouse; not going out of the house, and if I needed to go out, that is only to get some rice and fish from the market, and that would only require me less than 2 hours to require me to get a new set of napkins until it is full (I lived in Sibulan next to the Airport so I am lucky with the distance...).

And yes, most Pinoys (boys and girls) perfected the control of their tummy to wait to have their pee back to the house. I myself can hold it for hours, say 3 hours to the minimum.

About the disposal - Even here in the Netherlands where everything is almost provided in the lavatory, I carry my own set of tissues and sanitisers, but that is all because I have a very sensitive skin I can not just use any tissue; and a very sensitive nose, I can not just use something with scents. And believe me, even here I need to carry my napkins back to the house cuz I just can not open the lids of the bins in the lavatory. In the office where I worked we are provided with 40-Liter bins, and I do'nt believe the cleaners empty them daily, so when you try to lift the lid (by hand or by foot) the smell escaping from the bin with the days-old napkins and tampons is just unbearable!

(okey, back to the make-up-and-salesladies issue and whoever-who-went-in there... well, you are very right with that. how much is a roll of tissue now? but hey, even if it is cheap or expensive, just can't imagine being wet there from the pee if you don't dry them, you know? wish i was a boy, i can always squeeze and shake them dry, haha!)

    Agreed!!!

I totally agree with you on that one!! If we were only boys....but, don't get me going on that subject, either (have to shake them, you know)... and walking out of the restroom and touching the fruits in the store or browsing through the bins of clothes....and they never washed their hands, either!! Can't win for losing, can I? I just know too much about clean hands, etc....I worked in surgery for 25 years and it is just a pet peeve of mine!!

well, some women are scared to sit on the toilet for they are scared to get some germs..so what they do is "squat". theres really no problem with squatting as long as they're going to clean it after but ofcourse some of them retards are just lazy to do it coz mostly there are janitors to clean the mess but i think cleaning the seat after using it is not hard to do especially that you know someone is going to use it after you, thats why its "public toilet".

anyway, the best thing to do when youre a woman...
    always carry a toilet paper..THATS A MUST!

what i do is, i wipe the seat with toilet paper and try to cover again it with more toilet paper before sitting on it...lol..i know it sounds funny, but its better to be safe...
    hope this helps! =-)

    toilets

Thanks for the reinforcement of this subject!! Not so "funny" about the toilet paper on the rim.....we do that in the states on toilets with seats if there aren't any seat covers available!! Quite frankly, here....I clean with sanitizing wipe AND cover with tissue!! Hehe........

It is not even being lazy to clean their mess BUT having nothing to clean it; not even a tissue with them or in the toilets.

I agree....it is too bad the establishments don't recognize and encourage more sanitary conditions and provide tissue in each toilet stall. I wonder if people just steal it, is that why they don't?
