depending on your budget, if you want it professional AND safe drop Mike from Dauin Beach Resort a line.

There are cheaper tour-operators in town but some make it to a REAL adventure

I hope you don't mean the VERY OPEN MINDED "phladytourguide" .... if so, my advice, hands off, ... way off...

If you want a local, have a look into some reliable experienced tour-organizer in Duma.

You might wanna a drop harolds-mansion a mail too for budget accommodation. He also works together with experienced locals doing adventure tours day-in day-out.

    For customized accommodations, go to Harold's Mansion--(35) 225-8000, just don't expect the Shangri-la. It's Dumaguete's backpackers' haven.

For adventure tours, go to Babbu Wenceslao, a local artist and adventure tour guide who taught Mike Feeney and most everyone else in the same business what there is to know about the province's adventure tours business--(+63920-908-4414).

@Miguel: Guess this is the reason why we are all here, to give advices, discuss and see different opinions.

That's why I leave name and number on, as I am sure there is also a demand for that

@ sillimanian: Babbu is a great advice, I think he actually works for Harold, Mike and Dumaguete Outdoors on a freelancing base anyway, when it comes to a bit more challenging adventures than just going to the waterfalls and twin-lakes.

@miss vj: just tell us about your room-budget, there are many options in Dumaguete and you find really nice places for around 1000 Peso downtown Dumaguete

Rhoody, Sillimanian is more or less correct in this one Babu is the top guy to go to for local adventure tours, he showed me a lot of the local area and when I need more than the standard trips I often go to him for help. Great guy, safty conscious and very experienced... can't go wrong with Babu...
