Ewwwwww, now THAT is disgusting!!!!

 

That was part of, I believe, a gov't project to collect urine to turn into fertilizers. Urine is rich in ammonia and removing the salt and diluting the ammonia makes it a good organic fertilizer. Remember, urine is cleaner than water and only gets contaminated by bacteria as it exits the body. Even after that, not too many bacteria survives it's high salt content. Now, I don't know what they do with the salt that they collect..... organic salt anyone?

That reminds me of a surgeon I worked with, who, apparently, would urinate in the sink in the men's dressing room, stating "it's sterile anyway"!! Still gross!!

That was very early in my career (25 years ago!!) I never worked with another surgeon with that kind of attitude, thankfully!!

 

If you don't like it.......

I'm sorry if I don't write like everybody else....I am not everybody else. My sisters and I all have very poor vision and when we write we always use bolder, larger fonts so we don't strain our eyes. Not that I own anyone an explanation. All I can say, is, if you don't like to look at it, then don't read my posts.
